Bruxism (teeth grinding): Bruxism — unconscious teeth grinding, typically during sleep — hypertrophies the masseter over time (the same way lifting weights builds biceps). Botox reduces the force of grinding, protects teeth from wear, and over several sessions reduces the muscle bulk that bruxism has built.
