Who we are
clinicsUAE is an independent editorial team covering the aesthetic and skin-treatment market in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and the wider UAE. We started clinicsUAE because the information available to people considering these treatments was either marketing dressed up as advice, or thin content with no real prices and no mention of the things that actually matter: whether the clinic is licensed, which product or device is being used, and what a fair price really is.
We are not doctors, and we do not pretend to be. Where a subject is clinical, we say so, we cite reputable sources, and we tell you to speak to a licensed physician. What we can do well is explain treatments in plain language, survey the market for real prices, and be honest about the things clinics have a commercial reason to gloss over.
How we research
Every treatment guide on this site is built the same way:
- Prices are compiled from surveying clinics across the UAE and are published as ranges, updated over time. We show ranges rather than a single number because real prices vary by brand, area, clinic tier and emirate. We flag when an offer is suspiciously cheap and explain why.
- Clinical claims are checked against reputable sources: regulators such as the DHA and MOHAP, drug and device regulators such as the US FDA, medical bodies, and peer-reviewed research. Guides carry a Sources list so you can check our work.
- We stay honest about limits. If a treatment is oversold in the market, we say so. If results are modest, or a course is needed, or something is not reversible, we tell you plainly rather than selling the dream.
How we stay independent
clinicsUAE makes money by connecting people with licensed clinics, not by ranking clinics for payment. Our guides are not sponsored, and no clinic can buy a better review or a higher position in our editorial content. This is the whole point of the site: if our advice were for sale, it would be worth nothing.
This is also why you will not find fake five-star testimonials or invented "most-loved clinic" badges here. We would rather show you how to verify a clinic yourself than ask you to trust a rating you cannot check.
