The short answer

  • Endolift is Eufoton's brand name for treating loose skin and small fat pockets from inside: a doctor threads a single-use fibre under the skin and fires 1470 nm energy from the Italian LASEmaR 1500 laser. "Endolaser" is the generic term.
  • The FDA clearance is for the laser, not for lifting: K260489 (May 2026) covers surgical uses and laser-assisted lipolysis, with no clinical data required.
  • The evidence is thin: one randomised trial of 96 people and about two dozen case series, mostly of 9 or 10 patients. Reviews in 2025 and 2026 found a high risk of bias and no clear proof of tightening.
  • Published Dubai prices start around AED 3,000 for the eyes or a double chin and reach AED 10,000 to 16,000 for the full face or face and neck at one clinic (October 2026), usually for one session.
  • It breaks the skin, so it belongs in a licensed medical facility with a suitably privileged doctor. Check the clinic's licence before you book.

Endolift is one of the most heavily advertised treatments in Dubai, sold as a non-surgical facelift for jowls, double chins, eye bags and tummies. Almost every Google result for it is a clinic page, and none of the ones we read explained what the laser's FDA paperwork says, how small the studies are, or which doctors the Dubai Health Authority allows to perform invasive skin procedures.

This guide covers those gaps, then sets out published prices by area and the alternatives worth weighing. If you are still unsure if your problem is loose skin, fat or both, start with our overview of how to tighten loose skin in Dubai.

What is Endolift, and is it the same as endolaser?

Endolift is a minimally invasive laser treatment in which a doctor slides a thin, single-use optical fibre under the skin through a needle puncture and heats the fat and connective tissue from inside, using the Italian company Eufoton's LASEmaR 1500 diode laser at 1470 nm. There is no cut to stitch and nothing stays under the skin.

The device's FDA file describes the LASEmaR 1500 as a 1470 nm gallium arsenide diode laser of up to 15 watts that only works with Eufoton's own RFID-tagged fibres. Facial studies mostly used 200 or 300 micron fibres. The manufacturer says the heat tightens the connective tissue under the skin, prompts new collagen over the following months and melts small amounts of fat. Small studies have measured thicker, more elastic skin on ultrasound afterwards; how much visible tightening people get is less certain.

The names cause confusion:

  • Endolift is Eufoton's original procedure for remodelling the deep and superficial skin layers.
  • EndoliftX places Eufoton's microfibres in the fat layer under the skin. Fat is dissolved without suction, and local anaesthetic may be used.
  • EndoliftXs adds suction to remove the melted fat, which puts it closer to laser-assisted liposuction.
  • Endolaser or endolifting are generic terms for similar fibre lasers from other makers. Eufoton warns that some "endolifting" offers use uncertified devices, so ask which machine a clinic uses.

Is Endolift FDA approved? What the clearance actually says

No procedure called Endolift has been FDA approved; what exists is a 510(k) clearance for the LASEmaR 1500 laser itself, most recently K260489 on 29 May 2026, as a surgical laser for soft tissue that includes laser-assisted lipolysis. Clinic pages calling Endolift an "FDA-approved procedure" are stretching that.

The cleared indications are surgical uses "requiring vaporization, incision, excision, ablation, cutting, and hemostasis or coagulation" in plastic and aesthetic medicine, ENT, gynaecology and neurosurgery, plus laser-assisted lipolysis. Lifting, tightening, laxity and eye bags are not mentioned. The clearance rested on bench tests against Eufoton's model cleared in 2010 (K092860), and the FDA summary states that clinical performance data were not required. A doctor may legally use the laser to tighten skin, but no regulator has reviewed proof that it does.

Eufoton says its devices carry CE, FDA and ISO certification but publishes no certificate numbers on its patient site. In the UAE, the DHA requires cosmetic lasers to be registered under the Ministry of Health and Prevention's medical device rules, so a licensed clinic can confirm its machine is registered.

Does Endolift work? What the studies show

Endolift probably helps some people with mild laxity and small fat pockets, but the evidence is small, mostly uncontrolled and largely produced by doctors who perform or teach it, so nobody can say how big or lasting the effect is.

A 2025 scoping review counted 26 publications on aesthetic endolaser: one randomised trial, 23 case series, one case study and one pilot study. A second 2025 review kept 7 studies after screening, judged them at high risk of bias and found adverse event reporting that "did not align with clinical reality"; it concluded that Endolift's efficacy and safety are hard to assert. A 2026 review of technology-assisted liposuction found no clear benefit of endolaser for skin tightening. The most positive, a 2024 review of 23 studies, still rated the evidence at levels III and IV and asked for controlled trials; its Tehran group wrote many of the included studies.

The randomised trial enrolled people aged 45 to 55 graded 4 on a five-grade scale of lower-face sagging and compared Endolift alone, Endolift plus light therapy, and light therapy alone. The abstract reports significant differences but not the scores, and there was no untreated group.

Satisfaction of around 90 percent in the small studies was collected by the treating clinics without comparison groups, the weakest kind of evidence, and online reviews are chosen by the clinic too. That is the honest answer to the "Endolift reviews" question. clinicsUAE does not publish reviews; judge a clinic by its licence, its doctor and its answers to the questions at the end of this guide.

Which areas can Endolift treat, from face to abdomen?

Eufoton lists the lower eyelids, lower face, jawline, under the chin and neck, plus the inner arms, abdomen, buttocks, knees, inner thighs and ankles; studies cover only some of these, mostly in groups of 9 or 10 patients.

  • Jowls and jawline. The lower face is the best-studied use. It suits soft jowls with a pinchable pad of fat and mild loose skin. Heavy jowls with folds of skin are a facelift problem.
  • Double chin and neck. Endolift works on fat and skin at once, which is its main selling point here. The cause of your fullness decides which treatment fits, and our guide on how to get rid of a double chin in Dubai explains the pinch test. One 10-patient study also reported shallower horizontal neck lines.
  • Lower eye bags. Studied in one 9-patient series followed for 6 months. Large bags caused by fat pushing forward from behind the eye are still best treated by lower eyelid surgery.
  • Abdomen, arms, knees and thighs. Endolift on the body treats small, pinchable pockets with mild laxity. It does not replace liposuction for larger volumes or a tummy tuck for loose skin after pregnancy or major weight loss.
Reading before and after photos

Check that head angle, lighting and distance match, because tipping the chin changes a jawline more than most treatments do. Ask when the "after" was taken: first-week swelling can make skin look tighter, and results are judged at three to six months. Ask for photos of someone with your degree of sagging and your skin type, taken six months or more after treatment.

What happens on the day, and how long does it last?

Expect one session of 30 minutes to two hours under local anaesthetic, several days of swelling and possibly bruising, a final result at three to six months, and no reliable data on how long it lasts beyond 18 months.

The doctor marks the area and numbs it, usually with local anaesthetic injected under the skin. A needle makes a tiny entry point, the fibre is moved back and forth under the skin as the laser fires, and it is then discarded. One Dubai clinic lists about 30 minutes for the eyes or a double chin, 90 for the full face or abdomen and two hours for face and neck.

Swelling, tenderness and bruising are normal for several days. Most clinics say desk work is possible within a day or two, though one Dubai clinic's own timeline puts a full return at about a week. Eufoton's aftercare advice is to limit activity for 24 to 48 hours, drink plenty of water, avoid direct sun, use SPF 30 or higher and skip exfoliants and retinoids for a week. In the UAE, avoid the midday sun, saunas and hot workouts while the swelling settles, and book at least three months before a wedding. If you fast during Ramadan, consider treatment after Eid, since the aftercare includes drinking plenty of water.

Most people have one session, and one Dubai clinic group allows a second within 12 months if the result is incomplete. Clinic pages claim results last anything from one to four years, but the longest controlled follow-up in the literature is 18 months. Destroyed fat cells do not return, but the remaining ones can grow with weight gain, and skin keeps ageing.

On Fitzpatrick IV to VI skin, surface melanin is not the main target because the energy is delivered underneath, but any burn, entry-point mark or deep bruise can leave dark patches that take months to fade. Ask how many patients with your skin type the doctor has treated.

Who suits Endolift, who needs something else, and what are the risks?

Endolift suits people with mild to moderate laxity and a small pocket of fat they can pinch, typically along the jawline, under the chin or on the inner arms; heavy sagging, a lot of loose skin or a large volume of fat needs surgery or a different plan.

Expect disappointment with:

  • Heavy sagging or folds of skin on the face or neck. No fibre laser removes excess skin; a facelift or neck lift does.
  • A thin face with little fat to spare. Endolift dissolves fat, and losing volume from a lean face can make it look gaunt rather than lifted.
  • Loose abdominal skin after pregnancy or weight loss, or more fat than you can pinch.

Postpone it during pregnancy and breastfeeding or with an active skin infection, and tell the doctor about bleeding disorders, blood thinners, keloid scarring and any fillers or threads in the area.

The risks worth asking about

Because the laser heats tissue from inside, the serious complications are thermal. A 2026 review of 88 studies on laser and other technology-assisted fat procedures found burns, seromas (fluid collections), haematomas, infections and scars the most common, and its authors judged the scars in their own series of ten patients to be lifelong. Uneven results, dents from over-treated fat and altered sensation are also possible, and along the jawline the doctor must avoid the small nerve branch that moves the lower lip. The doctor matters more than the brand.

How much does Endolift cost in Dubai and Abu Dhabi?

Published Endolift prices in Dubai in October 2026 run from about AED 3,000 for a small area such as the under-eyes or a double chin to AED 10,000 to 16,000 for the full face or face and neck at one clinic, and AED 4,000 to 12,000 for the abdomen depending on the clinic. One Abu Dhabi clinic lists AED 3,000 to 7,000. These are the three Dubai price lists we found broken down by area.

Because most people have one session, the session price is close to the total. Budget for a possible second session and for combined plans (one clinic notes that adding skin boosters, PRP or Profhilo changes the package price), and ask whether the consultation, anaesthetic and follow-up visits are included.

Be wary of far cheaper offers: UAE social media promotions have advertised "Endolift" for under AED 1,500, one from AED 649. Genuine Endolift uses a single-use, RFID-tagged Eufoton fibre, so a very low price may mean a different device or a reused fibre. Ask to see the sealed fibre.

Endolift vs HIFU, Morpheus8, thread lift, fat-dissolving injections and surgery

Endolift sits between the non-invasive devices and surgery: more invasive than HIFU or Morpheus8 and aimed at loose skin combined with a small fat pocket, but far short of what a surgeon can remove.

OptionHow it worksBest forSessionsDowntimeTypical Dubai price

For early laxity without much fat, HIFU in Dubai costs less and has almost no downtime. If texture or scars bother you as much as sagging, Morpheus8 treats both. For a same-day lift of mild jowls, a thread lift delivers that, softening as the threads dissolve. For heavy sagging, the clinic group listing a mini facelift from AED 20,000 prices a facelift with neck lift at AED 40,000 to 70,000.

Licensing: who may perform Endolift in Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Endolift breaks the skin and usually involves injected anaesthetic and a surgical laser, so it belongs in a licensed medical facility with a doctor performing it: licensed by the DHA in mainland Dubai, the DOH in Abu Dhabi and MOHAP in the northern emirates, with Sharjah and Dubai Healthcare City under their own regulators. A salon or spa should never offer it.

In Dubai, the DHA's Standards for Non-Surgical Cosmetic Procedures (version 2.1, in force since February 2025) require these services in DHA-licensed facilities permitted to provide plastic surgery or dermatology, with a licensed plastic surgeon or dermatologist supervising, and lasers used only on the treating doctor's written plan.

The standards do not name Endolift. The closest line in their privileging table, "invasive skin procedures (skin opening) for skin tightening, lifting and or dissolving fats in face and body", is assigned to plastic surgeons only, while external devices such as HIFU and radiofrequency are open to more professionals. The document also defines surgical cosmetic procedures as involving incisions, suturing and injectable anaesthesia. A clinic may argue a needle puncture is not "skin opening", so ask which doctor holds the privilege and what their specialty is.

In Abu Dhabi, the Department of Health licenses facilities and practitioners, and you can check both through the DOH's online services and the TAMM platform. In Dubai Marina, Jumeirah or Abu Dhabi alike, check the clinic's licence on the right registry, then ask:

  • Is the device a LASEmaR 1500 with Eufoton fibres, or a different endolaser? Can I see the sealed fibre?
  • Which doctor performs it, what is their specialty, and are they privileged for it here?
  • Is my problem mainly fat, loose skin or both, and would surgery or another option suit me better?
  • Which risks does your consent form list?
  • Does the price include the consultation, anaesthetic, follow-up and a second session if needed?
  • Can I see photos taken six months or more after treatment, of patients with my skin type?
  • Who do I contact after hours if I notice a blister, a hard lump or worsening pain?
