"Full body" means different things at different Dubai clinics. Some include Brazilian; others stop at the bikini line. Some include the face; others price it separately. We explain exactly what to confirm before signing any package — and what the real AED numbers look like across the Dubai market.
There is no industry-standard definition of "full body laser" in Dubai. The term can mean anything from "all major body zones excluding face and intimate areas" to "literally everything from head to toe." The price difference between these two interpretations is AED 600–1,500 per session. Before signing a package, get in writing which specific areas are included.
The areas that most commonly create confusion: the face (some clinics include upper lip and chin, others charge separately), the Brazilian/intimate area (sometimes called "Hollywood" and always an add-on at budget clinics), the back of the neck (included or excluded depending on clinic), and the toes and fingers (often excluded but sometimes part of "full body").
A well-structured full body package for a female patient should include: full legs (front and back), full arms (upper and lower), underarms, bikini or Brazilian (confirm which), abdomen, back, shoulders, and upper lip. Everything else should either be explicitly included or explicitly priced as an add-on. Never assume.
Emirates Hospitals advertises full body (with chest and back) at AED 399/session. Premium clinics charge AED 3,500. Both are real prices — they are not comparable products.
The AED 399/session full body pricing from hospital promotional packages is for a "basic" full body that excludes intimate areas and uses older or non-premium devices. It's not a comparable product to AED 2,400/session at a specialist clinic with a Soprano Ice Platinum. Judge value against the specific areas included and device used, not the headline price.

5–15% hair reduction visible after shedding (1–3 weeks post-session). The face and bikini area show less reduction than legs and underarms at this stage because of hormonal hair cycling. Don't judge the result yet.
40–60% reduction in most body areas. Regrowth is thinner and sparser. Legs and underarms often reach a point where shaving becomes irregular rather than daily. Bikini and facial areas are still catching up — this is normal.
70–85% reduction across all body areas for most patients. At this point many patients can reduce session frequency to every 6–8 weeks for the remaining sessions. The most resistant areas (back of thighs, abdomen) typically require more sessions than legs or underarms.
One full body maintenance session per year maintains 80–90%+ reduction. The cost drops significantly: a maintenance session is a fraction of the original per-session price, and the session itself takes 60–90 minutes rather than 2–3 hours for an early-course session when more hair is present.
Selected for: package transparency (all areas named in writing), machine quality, and therapist experience with full body sessions.
A genuine full body session (legs, arms, underarms, back, abdomen, chest, bikini/Brazilian, face) takes 90–180 minutes at an experienced clinic. Factors affecting duration: the laser's technology (Soprano Ice Platinum's in-motion technique covers large areas faster than pulsed lasers), hair density (first and second sessions take longer when more hair is present), and body size. By session 5–6, when hair density has reduced by 60–70%, the same full body session takes noticeably less time — typically 60–90 minutes.
The financial answer is clear: packages of 6–8 sessions save 25–40% versus paying per session. The risk is the clinical one: you're committing to a clinic before you know how your skin responds to their machine and therapist's calibration. A sensible approach is to pay for sessions 1 and 2 individually, assess the result at week 6 (after shedding from both sessions), and then purchase the package if you're satisfied. Most reputable Dubai clinics will credit your single-session payments against a package purchased within 60 days of your first treatment.
Yes — shave all treatment areas 24 hours before the session. For a full body appointment, this means shaving legs, arms, underarms, and the bikini area the day before. Do not wax, thread, or epilate — these remove the follicle that the laser needs to target. If shaving is difficult for certain areas (back, for example), most clinics will offer to shave those areas for you at the start of the appointment — confirm this in advance and budget an extra 10–15 minutes.
Tell us which areas you want included and your budget. We'll send you 2–3 clinics with fully itemised package breakdowns so you can compare like for like.
